Planar Monolithic Industries (PMI) introduces six new products for June in their extensive line of RF and microwave components. Included are a 1.0 to 2.0 GHz limiter, a 1.0 to 12.0 GHz threshold detector, a 50 MHz to 4.0 GHz, SP32T absorptive switch, an 8.0 to 22.0 GHz highpass filter, a 0.5 to 18.0 GHz frequency divider, and an 18.0 to 40.0 GHz bi-phase modulator. PMI LM-1G2G-4CW-1KWP-SMF Limiter - RF CafePMI Model No. LM-1G2G-4CW-1KWP-SMF, 1.0 to 2.0 GHz, Limiter

PMI Model No. LM-1G2G-4CW-1KWP-SMF is a Limiter that operates over the 1.0 to 2.0 GHz frequency range. Specification include maximum insertion loss of 0.7 dB; maximum VSWR of 2.0:1; Input Power of 4 W CW Minimum, 1 kW Peak (1% Duty Cycle, 1 µs Max. Pulse Width); Maximum Flat Leakage: 16 dBm (40 mW) Max; Limiting Threshold 5 dBm Min, 1 dB Compression; and Recovery Time: 1 µs Max. This model contains an SMA male input connector and an SMA female output connector in a housing measuring 1.00" x 0.75" x 0.38".

PMI Model No. TD-1G12G-RL-CD-SFF-NH is a Threshold Detector that operates over the 1.0 to 12.0 GHz frequency range. Typical VSWR of 3.0:1; maximum input power of 100 mW CW; dynamic range -30 to +10 dBm; threshold variation (With Frequency) ±1.5 dB maximum; propagation Delay 10 ns typical, 3 dB above threshold setting (50% RF Input to 50% Logic at -10 dBm); minimum pulse width: 50 ns typical; temperature stability: 1.0 dB typical, 3 dB above threshold setting; threshold Level Setting Range is -30 to -10 dBm and input power 100 mW CW maximum. Unit housing measures 1.10" x 0.60" x 0.19" and has SMA female connectors.


PMI P32T-0R5G18G-60-T-SFF-OPT50M4G SP32T Absorptive Switch - RF CafePMI Model No. P32T-0R5G18G-60-T-SFF-OPT50M4G, 50 MHz to 4.0 GHz, SP32T Absorptive Switch

PMI Model No. P32T-0R5G18G-60-T-SFF-OPT50M4G is a High-Speed, Single Pole, Thirty-Two Throw, Absorptive Switch that operates over 50 MHz to 4.0 GHz. This State-Of-The-Art Switch offers top notch performance of 4.0 dB maximum insertion loss and a minimum isolation of 60 dB. The switch maintains 2.0:1 maximum VSWR over the full operating frequency with a maximum switching speed of 200 ns. The operating input power rating is +20 dBm CW maximum and the switch is controlled via 5-Bit Decoded TTL. The required DC Supply is ±5 VDC and the housing measures 8.0” x 3.5” x 1.0”.

PMI Model No. HP8G-7D8G-CD-SMF is a High Pass Filter that operates over the 8.0 to 22.0 GHz frequency range It has a Typ. CW input power of 5 W: passband Insertion Loss 1.5 dB Max, Rejection @ 7.5 GHz -35 dB Typ; and a Max passband VSWR of 2.0:1. This model offers SMA male input connector and a SMA female output connector in a housing measuring 1.15" x 0.70" x 0.50".

PMI Model No. PSC-200M18G-CD-SFF is a Frequency Divider that operates over the 0.5 to 18.0 GHz frequency range. Typical output power of -4 dBm; SSB phase noise of -147 dBc/Hz; output frequency Range of 0.125 to 4.5 GHz; fixed divide ratio: 4 Typ; output power: -7 dBm Min, -4 dBm Typ; and SSB phase noise (100 kHz Offset) -147 dBc/Hz Typ. This model has SMA female connectors and a housing measuring 1.250" x 1.250" x 0.563".


PMI Model No. BPM-1840-180-292FF, 18.0 to 40.0 GHz, Bi-Phase Modulator - RF CafePMI BPM-1840-180-292FF, 18.0 to 40.0 GHz, Bi-Phase Modulator

PMI Model No. BPM-1840-180-292FF is a Bi-Phase Modulator that operates over the 18.0 to 40.0 GHz frequency range. Typical insertion loss of 8 dB; maximum VSWR of 3.0:1; switching speed 100 ns maximum; phase variation ±40° typical; amplitude balance ±4.0 dB typical; and power handling 20 dBm operational. This compact housing measures 1.0" x 1.0" x 0.5" and is outfitted with 2.92 mm female connectors.
