A total of 82 models containing 59 packaged power models, 17 GaN die power transistor products and 6 small-signal models.

Modelithics® Releases the Modelithics Qorvo® GaN Library v21.4.5Tampa, Florida (March 16, 2021) – Modelithics is pleased to announce the release of version 21.4.5 of the Modelithics Qorvo GaN Library for use with Keysight Technologies' Advanced Design System and Cadence AWR Design Environment.

Version 21.4.5 of the Modelithics Qorvo Gallium Nitride (GaN) Library includes a total of 82 models containing 59 packaged power models, 17 GaN die power transistor products and 6 small-signal models. This release offers a non-linear model for the Qorvo QPD1028L, a 750W (P3dB) discrete GaN on SiC HEMT using Qorvo's QGaN50HV process. This device comes in an NI-780 package (eared). The Angelov-based large-signal model includes an advanced model feature for enabling intrinsic I-V sensing and is valid for Class AB operations.

The Modelithics Qorvo GaN Library is a set of non-linear models for Qorvo package and die GaN devices, designed for excellent accuracy, and validated with broadband S-parameters and load pull data at multiple frequencies. Each model has a detailed datasheet summarizing model features, development details, and model performance plots. Some devices are also represented with small-signal and noise models in addition to non-linear models.

Through the Modelithics Vendor Partner (MVP) Program, the Modelithics Qorvo GaN library is available free to qualified customers. For more information and to request the library, visit www.Modelithics.com/MVP/Qorvo or contact Modelithics at sales@modelithics.com.

About Modelithics, Inc.

Modelithics, Inc. (www.Modelithics.com) was formed in 2001 to address the industry-wide need for high-accuracy RF and microwave active and passive simulation models for use in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulators. Modelithics' premium product is the Modelithics® COMPLETE Library, which includes the CLR Library™, containing measurement-based Microwave Global Models™ for a multitude of commercially-available passive component families, as well as the NLD Library™ (non-linear diode models), the NLT Library™ (non-linear transistor models), and the SLC Library™ (system level component models). Modelithics' services also address a wide range of custom RF and microwave measurement, EM simulation and modeling needs. Modelithics® is a registered trademark of Modelithics, Inc. Microwave Global Models™, CLR Library™, NLD Library™, NLT Library™, and the SLC Library™ are also trademarks of Modelithics, Inc. The Modelithics Vendor Partner (MVP) Program allows for collaboration and open communication during the development of advanced data sets and models for commercially available microwave components and devices, with flexible sponsorship and distribution arrangements for the resulting data and models. An example of such an arrangement is the Modelithics Qorvo GaN Library, a fully sponsored library distributed for free by Modelithics under sponsorship of Qorvo®. Modelithics has also recently launched a new Standard & Custom Test Fixture and Accessory Product Line, including legacy parts from J Micro Technology for a family of thin film Alumina substrate components.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
