Belmont Radio Corporation was located in Chicago, Illinois. Founded independently sometime the 1920s, it became a subsidiary of Raytheon Manufacturing after World War II in an effort to quickly launch the Raythen into nascent consumer FM radio and television markets. Belmont advertisements were prominent in electronics trade magazines throughout 1940 to promote their war efforts. A schematic and parts list for this Belmont Model 5240 appeared in the July 1948 edition of Radio News.

Radio Service Data Sheets

These schematics, tuning instructions, and other data are reproduced from my collection of vintage radio and electronics magazines. As back in the era, similar schematic and service info was available for purchase from sources such as SAMS Photofacts, but these printings were a no-cost bonus for readers. There are 219 Radio Service Data Sheets as of November 15, 2017.
