The world of low power VHF/UHF broadcasting continues to evolve rapidly. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will soon be relocating thousands of low power TV and TV translators that were displaced to free up auctioned spectrum. The FCC is also granting large numbers of FM translators for use by AM stations and new low power FM licenses. All of these type transmission facilities can easily use AM broadcast towers with one of the three new, economical, and rugged LBA AM isocouplers.

"Feedback and demand from within the industry helped the LBA research and development team refine our original and successful CAMI's into three even more flexible, attractive, and cost effective units," LBA Chief Operating Officer Mike Britner said.

The CAMI500™, CAMI1800™, or CAMI5000™ can be chosen for the appropriate application to handle typical FM or TV power to 5000 watts. These isocouplers also allow a transmission line at any frequency, from DC – 3GHz, to "jump" the AM base insulator without affecting either service.

These three new CAMI™ models offer more convenient power ratings and new connector options. have also been introduced. Type N connectors are standard on the CAMI500™, either Type N or 7/16 DIN connectors are available for the CAMI1800™, and a choice of 7/16 DIN or 7/8 EIA connectors are available on the CAMI5000™.
