 These engineering and science tech-centric
jokes, song parodies, anecdotes and assorted humor have been collected from friends
and websites across the Internet. I check back occasionally for new fodder, but
it seems all the old content is reappearing all over (like this is). The humor is
light-hearted and clean and sometimes slightly assaultive to the easily-offended,
so you are forewarned. It is all workplace-safe.

is a plethora of comics with just about any theme on the Internet: electronics, physics, mathematics, finance, amateur
radio, sports, and politics, to name a few. I could provide pages full of replications for your enjoyment, but one
of the best ways to sample available comics for personal consumption and/or use in reports, presentations, etc., is
to use the Search function on a website like CartoonStock.
The above thumbnail image is a great example of an electronically-themed comic (by
Dan Reynolds). In it, the anatomically correct mother, father, and son socket and plug family have the
inscription, "Sparky! Your mother and I are shocked at your current behavior! Until you learn to
 conduct
yourself properly, you're grounded!" "Oxygen and potassium went on a
 date.
How did it work out? OK." The items on CartoonStock will cost you a small fee for use since it is basically a clearing
house for artists looking to sell their copyrighted work. If you use the right keywords, it is possible to sometimes
find very specific themes like this comic to the right (by
Ralph Hagen) that features a vector network analyzer. The amateur astronomer in me appreciates the comic
to the left (by
Bradford Veley) with
Nicholas Copernicus' mother scolding him, "'Someday, Mr. Nicky Copernicus, SOMEDAY
you'll learn that the world doesn't revolve around YOU!" This is a way to add some humor to your document or
presentation and keep it legit for a pittance of cash.
